Restricted Items Overview
Certain items cannot be forwarded or stored by mailbox operators. Understanding these restrictions is crucial for compliance and safety.
Prohibited Items
The following items cannot be accepted, stored, or forwarded:
- Hazardous Materials: Flammable liquids, explosives, radioactive materials
- Perishable Items: Food items, plants, live animals
- Illegal Substances: Drugs, contraband, prohibited items
- Weapons: Firearms, ammunition, knives
- Cash: Currency, coins, negotiable instruments
Handling Procedures

When restricted items are identified:
